PT Aneka Tambang Tbk: ANTAM receives the Subroto Prize, the Prize for Good Mining Practices and the Dharma Karya Prize from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2021
Jakarta, October 1, 2021 – PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM), member of Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) – the state holding company of the mining industry, is pleased to announce that the company has been awarded the Subroto Prize, Good Mining Practices Prize and Dharma Karya Prize initiated by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. In commemoration of the 76th anniversary of mines and energy on September 28-29, 2021.
The awards were handed over online by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr. Arifin Tasrif and the Director General of Minerals and Coal, Mr. Ridwan Djamaluddin. This is an assessment of ANTAM’s participation in supporting economic growth and the implementation of good mining practices in the operational activities of the Company.

At the Subroto Awards ceremony held on September 28, 2021, ANTAM received the award for the company with the highest compliance rate for PNBP payments from the group of state-owned mining licenses. The GNPP is calculated as one of the state revenues in the state budget (APBN) in addition to taxes. Thus, ANTAM participates in achieving economic growth, increasing national income and supporting the achievement of the objective of financial stability.
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources also awards awards to commercial mining entities that have implemented good mining practices. ANTAM received 6 (six) awards in various categories during this award through its Business Units and Subsidiaries.
During the Good Mining Practices Award, ANTAM through PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya received a Trophi as and an Aditama rating in the Technical Management of Mining and Coal Mining category. In addition, in the Mineral Mining Safety Management category, the North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit received the Utama rating and PT Gag Nickel received the Pratama rating.
In the Environmental Management of Coal and Mineral Mines category, ANTAM’s Gold Mining Business Unit received the Aditama rating and PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya received the Pratama rating. At the same time, in the Minerals and Coal Conservation Management category, the Gold Mining Business Unit received a Utama rating.
In addition, in 2021, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources also awarded the Dharma Karya Prize for Energy and Mineral Resources, awarded in appreciation to individuals or institutions / companies who have played a role. determining in their reflections, policies, decisions, actions and development. , as well as new discoveries in the energy and mineral resources sector providing a significant impact on national development, especially in the energy and mineral resources sector.
Three ANTAM teams received the Dharma Karya Muda Award, including: (1) GKM Front: successfully increased the productivity of ore slurry processing by 60% using the dumping method with the Front Conveyor Design. The Front GKM team consisted of Dadam Mustopa, Arsyil Dwinda, Haris, Dedi Supardi and Yana Mulyana; (2) PSS Pomin UGTD: Successfully accelerated the single tube drilling process in the rock formation / boulder of the Tapunopaka nickel exploration area by manufacturing a mini borehole pump. The PSS Pomin UGTD team consists of Tulus Semedie, I Nyoman Terisna, Angger Imas A. (3) QCC Roda Tiga: successfully eliminated the use of marine fuel oil (MFO) in the production process of Condition Ore using the Zero MFO method in the Rotary dryer work unit 3.
